Headquartered in Torrance, California, and operating in the United States since 1972, OCS America Inc. was originally founded to distribute Japanese newspapers to U.S. subscribers and handle courier packages, the company has reshaped and evolved to focus on air cargo as part of the ANA Group. Its services now include express courier and cargo transportation, logistics management, exhibition and project shipping, e-commerce (B2C) shipping, perishables import/export, aircraft parts handling, newspaper and publication distribution, customized international mail programs, and domestic trucking.

Locations & Service Ports

OCS America offers import and export services at 11 major U.S. airports, covering the mainland and Hawaii. Their well-informed staff and experienced handling agents work together to meet customer transportation needs and market demands.

OCS America offers its US-Japan Express Service at LAX, ORD, and JFK airports. In addition, they provide forwarding cargo services (both import and export) at all 11 major airports.

Due to the high demand for handling perishables and delicate Japanese foodstuffs in the Los Angeles region, the LAX station is equipped with refrigerated vans for local distribution, enabling frequent handling of perishable imports, such as Wagyu beef from Japan. OCS America also operates Fresh Delivery (https://lafreshdelivery.com), a shopping website that provides Los Angeles residents with Japanese specialties through partnerships with food suppliers.

Event Shipping

OCS America is the official freight forwarder of the annual Boston Career Forum, a decades-old recruiting event held each fall. The event hosts approximately 200 companies as exhibitors and over 3,000 Japanese-English bilingual students. Most of these companies attend and ship their materials from Japan. Since the late 1980s, OCS has transported several tons of event supplies, including displays, literature, and goods, to help create the best possible recruiting environment for exhibitors each year.

OCS staff from all U.S. stations, Japan, and Canada participate in the Boston Career Forum, providing on-site customer service and handling cargo in and out of the venue. The strong collaboration with OCS Japan and Canada is key to the event's annual success.

E-Commerce

OCS America focuses on the e-commerce business. Japanese snack subscriptions in the U.S. are delivered by OCS, and items purchased online in the U.S. market are sent back to Japan through OCS service. Our technologies and platform provide a seamless service to e-commerce service providers and sellers. 

OCS America also operates the ShopOCS shopping website (https://www.shopocs.com). OCS buys and ships items for Japanese residents, allowing them to enjoy shopping for items they cannot purchase in the United States. 

Aircraft Parts Cargo

As part of ANA (All Nippon Airways), Japan's largest airline, and for other airlines, OCS America also plays a critical role in the transportation of aircraft parts. Between the airports and the manufacturers/service providers of the aircraft and parts throughout the U.S., OCS manages import, export and ground transportation, safely handling such sensitive and highly valuable equipment with trusted experts.

Japanese Textbook Distribution

For decades, OCS America has been committed to providing Japanese textbooks, workbooks, and educational materials to Japanese schools in the United States, with the belief that a strong education is crucial for children, especially those living abroad. 

OCS America offers seamless services, from sourcing materials from Japanese publishers to delivering them to schools across the United States. They strive to provide reasonable prices and reliable delivery times.

They accept inquiries and purchase orders year-round, offering materials for all subjects from kindergarten through high school.
